Left Forum offers a platform for connection, education, empowerment, and inspiration.
Left Forum is a New York City-based non-profit organization that brings progressive people together to share radical ideas for social change. We host a large annual conference in NYC, as well as other smaller events. In 2017, Left Forum successfully expanded to Los Angeles to put on the first annual Left Coast Forum (alongside our friends at the LA Progressive). Left Forum plans to host conferences in New York, Los Angeles, and San Francisco by 2019.
The mission of Left Forum is to build solidarity among people and foster an intersectional movement towards global emancipation. Left Forum brings together people with a common desire to reduce grassroots fragmentation and to foster unity among different political perspectives oriented towards progress and emancipation.
We envision a world in which radical imagination becomes a tool for self-empowerment. Our radical imagination will challenge society to build a process for collaborative and emancipatory leadership.
Left Forum creates impact in three ways:
We empower people to connect and become radical problem solvers.
We inspire people through engaging in participatory experiences and sharing compelling stories.
We build partnerships with radical thinkers that will help us innovate and commit to change.
