Left Forum offers a platform for connection, education, empowerment, and inspiration. Left Forum is a New York City-based non-profit organization that brings progressive people together to share radical ideas for social change. We host a large annual conference in NYC, as well as other events in and around New York City including classes, workshops and other educational and cultural events and exchanges.
The mission of Left Forum is to build solidarity among people and foster movements towards global emancipation. Left Forum brings together people with a common desire to reduce grassroots fragmentation and to nourish unity among different political perspectives oriented towards progress, emancipation and radical social change.
We envision a world in which the radical imagination becomes a tool for self-empowerment. Using our collective radical imaginations will challenge society to build a process for collaborative and emancipatory leadership.
Left Forum creates impact in three ways:
- We empower people to connect and understand the myriad problems, injustices and inequalities of the different worlds in which we live.
- We inspire people through engaging in participatory experiences, sharing stories and building solidarity.
- We build partnerships with radical thinkers and movements that will help us learn, innovate and commit to change.
