Ann began her interest in monetary systems by studying the founding of the Federal Reserve and the history of money from ancient times to the present. She completed a two-year class facilitated by Sue Peters and based on Stephen Zarlenga's comprehensive history, "The Lost Science of Money." BA, Manhattanville College; MSW NYU. Ann is a former TIAA magazine editor addressing retirement planning, savings and investing. For NYU, she was a social worker (MSW), instructor, temporary associate director of communications. She is a member of the ACLU (American Civil Liberties Union), the NRDC (National Resources Defense Council), and WNYC listener sponsored radio.
