Martin Redlich (29) is working for a social democratic member of the parliament in the federal state of Mecklenburg Western Pomerania. He studied political science in Rostock and was a visiting scholar at the George Mason University in Arlington. He researched on failed states, state- and nationbuilding. His actual PhD thesis is about the political transformation of the Ukraine. He is a member of one of the biggest trade unions in Germany and active within the democratic left to form the Social Democratic Party of Germany into a bigger left wing party. He is volunteering against the German far right and modern Nazi-parties.
