Megan French-Marcelin serves as the Campaign Coordinator for JustLeadershipUSA’s “A Working Future” Campaign, which seeks to eradicate the collateral consequences people ith criminal records face daily as well as set a new standard for economic justice in the South. As the ACLU’s Policy Research Manager, Megan oversaw a broad portfolio of advocacy-driven criminal justice research. She holds a Ph.D in U.S. history from Columbia University and is the author of articles on the origins of neoliberalism and economic inequality, including the forthcoming “Doing Business New Orleans Style: Racial Progressivism and the Politics of Uneven Development.”
