An Algerian Native; Sihem Mellah-Sliker is a program and digital manager and Co-Founder of SandByMe, LLC. An organization that promotes Algerian and North African culture and history. Sihem immigrated to the United States in 2009 from Oran, Algeria to continue her medical studies but followed her interest in social and political ans international relations. She graduate with a B.A. in Middle Eastern Studies and political science from the University of Massachusetts Amherst with a concentration on Foreign Policy. She is currently organizing and working with the Middle Eastern and Northern African community in the greater New York City area to engage in social and political activism. Sihem helped organize Jumuaa United in NJ, Arabs for Bernie and was a panelist on the last year’s Left Forum and the Katie Halper Show’s International Women’s Day 2016 Special. Sihem has contributed opinion pieces to the French Magazine France Inter Radio.
